"Masterful writing with an authentic voice. Dark, relentless stories with slivers of light and moments of tenderness that are powerful and redemptive." Tim McKee,
Managing Editor, The Sun Magazine
"Boilard's narrators – with their fresh, colloquial, unpretentious voices – stand out. I enjoy the action, the humour and the flashes of pathos." Philip O Ceallaigh,
Author, The Pleasant Light of Day
"Boilard shows us the beauty in the ugly and the ugly in the beauty, scenes that linger as an embraced memory enhanced with refined sentiment."Timothy Gager,
Editor, Wilderness House Literary Review
